The company that owns the social network has violated obligations to the state.
Each year, Facebook must submit to the authorities a report on the handling of complaints about illegal publications. However, in July 2018, for unknown reasons, the company did not. The report did not indicate all complaints received, including on anti-Semitic materials.
As it became known to the media, the authorities did not approve the attempt of the social network to hide the claims. In addition, the report did not contain information about language proficiency and training of company personnel who process complaints.
