Immediately, two earthquakes with an interval of just over an hour occurred in Dagestan on the night of May 25th. The epicenter of both aftershocks was recorded a few kilometers from the village of Khalimbek-aul, Buynaksk district of the republic.
The first oscillation of the earth’s crust with a magnitude 4.4 occurred at 1:34, a second, but weaker, magnitude 2.3 occurred at 02:44. In the second case, tremors were felt only by the population of Buynaksk, in the first case also by the inhabitants of Makhachkala and Kaspiysk.
According to the staff of the on-call and dispatching services of cities, there are no victims as a result of earthquakes.
